Pastor’s “No Cancellation” Policy Announced
I realize that winter weather conditions often cause schools, clubs, businesses, and other organizations to close or cancel planned events. However, effective immediately, my policy for the Litchfield Community Presbyterian Church will be to hold regularly scheduled Sunday worship services regardless of weather conditions. As the pastor, I will conduct services for those who are able to attend.
I ask that all members and friends of the church use their own good judgment as to local driving conditions and travel accordingly. In short, I invite those who can to gather with me for worship. I encourage those who are not comfortable on the roads not to attend – each according to his or her own decision. If you can not come, that is fine and I perfectly understand. If you do come, there will be a service of worship.
Special events other than Sunday morning worship are not included in this policy.

We’re out here in the Portland, Oregon area with an usually white Christmas. Many churches in the area actually canceled Christmas services because of the 18 or so inches of snow a few days prior. It’s nice to know that back in New Hampshire Christmas services are still taking place.
