“Scouting for Food” stocks the Community Food Pantry
On Saturday, November 8th, the Boy Scouts of Litchfield Troop 11 collected thousands of non-perishable food items from generous Litchfield residents. The items were sorted at the Litchfield Fire Station throughout the morning and were then distributed to local food pantries, including the Litchfield Community Food Pantry sponsored by the Litchfield Community Church, Presbyterian. The Litchfield Food Pantry gratefully accepted nearly 2,000 items of non-perishable food. The food pantry serves residents of the Litchfield community who find themselves in need.
